When I left for the military in 2013, I had to leave my best friend, my partner in crime, my therapist, and my fitness pal, with my family. A Siberian husky named Fáelán (Gaelic for little wolf, or Boof, as he was fondly called). Leaving Boof in the loving care of my parents, he became a constant companion to them both. While my father was working away, Boof kept mum company, sharing the same unconditional love that he gave me… she was the captain now.

When she began creating the oil blends, Boof had a typical Siberian husky way of letting her know whether he liked the scent of a blend or not. He’d wag his tail and give an “Awoo” if he approved (and walked away if he didn’t!). Sadly, in 2022, we lost Boof at the age of 13. To honour his memory, we had a tattoo artist create the wolf paw design that you see on our labels, featuring Fáelán's distinctive multi-coloured eyes, and this design became a significant part of our brand. Through the love he showed us, we hope to pay that love forward in the form of high-quality products and services, and for the entirety of the brands existence, we will be donating a portion from each sale to organisations that provide support and care to both people and our furry companions.

Our "Fáelán" Organics label reflects who we are as a family, with Irish, Scottish, and Danish heritage, right down to the font we use: "Kells", from the old Norse word "Ketill," meaning cauldron, a nod to mums’ early days in the kitchen blending our products.
